Important legal notices (Ukraine)

  • Before concluding a consumer contract (including distance offers), the business must provide truthful and sufficient consumer information, including the provider’s identifying details. Source: Закон України «Про захист прав споживачів» (від 10.06.2023 № 3153-IX).
  • If services are offered via e-commerce/online contracting, the seller/provider must ensure consumers can directly access required provider-identification details (including contact information such as email and website/address data).   • If cookies or other trackers process personal data (e.g., analytics/advertising identifiers), processing must have a lawful basis and include required notices and rights handling. Source: Закон України «Про захист персональних даних» (від 01.06.2010 № 2297-VI).
